“The mecca for motor sport gave the inaugural event, in 2010, a warm welcome and we enjoyed the assistance of the Manx Government and the enthusiastic support and co-operation of the Manx motor clubs. This combination enabled us to run a competitive action packed road event and style of the 2017 event will be similar and hopefully equally popular.

The rally will retain the successful two days, three leg format with no nonsense navigation to provide a challenge to the driver and the navigator whilst ensuring maximum enjoyment for both. To allow time to relax with your fellow competitors much of the route information will be issued in advance, mostly in the form of good quality coloured photocopies that you should not need to transfer on to your own map. Additional information will be handed out one hour before the start of each leg but again the presentation will be in a straight-forward way.

Supplemented by some excellent private venues we think there will be something for everyone amongst the 20 plus great tests and around 15 regularity sections. There will also be a night based Time Control section that will be fun yet actioned packed for both members of the crew.

The Rally HQ this time will be in Douglas, the ferry port is a short drive away and for those who are flying in the airport at Ronaldsway is only about 10 miles away.”
