“Following on from the success of the new shorter format of the event we are delighted to announce that entries for the 2017 running of the award winning Royal Automobile Club 1000 Mile Trial will run over four and a half days in July – The start of the event will be from the Royal Borough of Windsor on the banks of the River Thames. Scrutineering will take place on Sunday 9th July with a welcome dinner that evening overlooking the Thames. Cars will be flagged away at 10:00 on Monday meaning that anybody who cannot arrive until late on Sunday can take advantage of an additional scrutineering slot on Monday morning.”
