“Welcome to the 2013 DG Jones Agri Ltd. Powys Lanes Rally.

Back in the late 70s and early 80s Epynt Motor Club ran a very successful road rally, namely The Powys
Factors. The rally was re-invented as the Powys Lanes Rally and ran again for the first time in 2011.

A pre-plot route of 110 miles on maps 147, 148 and 161 will provide an enjoyable challenge for both driver and navigator.

We would like to thank our sponsor, Gerwyn Jones of D G Jones Agri Ltd. As you might already know Gerwyn has a wealth of experience on the road rally scene and has won many an event including winning the Welsh Road Rally Championship in 2003 with our Clerk of the Course, Ceri Davies.

We would like to thank the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society for allowing us to base Rally Headquarters on the Showground.

We would also like to thank in advance everyone who is connected with the rally, especially the landowners and householders along the route and the residents of Builth Wells for their support.

Lastly thank you to you, the competitor, for entering the Powys Lanes Rally. We hope to raise significant funds to match the £750 that we donated last year, with £250 each to Wales Air Ambulance, Rhayader Primary School and Tenovus, the cancer charity.
