“Welcome to the fourth running of the Vale of Clwyd Classic, Historic Road Rally 2014.
This event will once again be based on OS Maps 116 and 117, starting and finishing in the picturesque village of Llanferres, between Mold and Ruthin.
The total route will be in the region of 135 miles on public roads with approximately 100 miles of regularity, split into 7 sections plus 13 planned tests.
The route and tests will contain metalled and unmetalled roads and the more enthusiastic drivers may find the need for a sumpguard.
You will be able to plot most of the regularity sections before you start each section, some with more time to achieve this than others. Some Regularity sections will be given to you as you start those sections.
The entry fee includes; coffee, buffet lunch and evening meal.
You may enter online and pay by Bank Transfer (BACS) or Cheque. You can also download an entry form from the Club website, or e-mail the Entries Secretary to send you one.”
