“Following on from the success of the 20th Anniversary running of Le Jog in 2014, the 2015 event will maintain the values of the original Le Jog events and continue with the ultra competitive sections that make Le Jog “The toughest Rally in Europe”.
Starting from Land’s End once again, the route will take in an overnight stop in Telford on the Saturday, this will then allow the event to explore some previously unused locations around the Midlands and Derbyshire before heading towards Newcastle for the Sunday night.
Monday and Tuesday will see Le Jog take to the eastern coast of Scotland, once again finishing in John O’Groats.
2015 will be different to the last few years and see some ideas to keep Le Jog fresh. Route planning will be carried out by none other than Graham Dance, part of the legendary Carpetbagger Rally for over ten years. The intention is to provide route that will see even longer reliability and endurance elements of the past, but with TC sections on the Saturday and Monday nights to test the crews. There will also be longer regularity sections where practical, giving an even more authentic feel to the event.
The aim of the organising team, is to define the difference between Le Jog and other events, recognising the uniqueness and nature of this wonderful institution, now heading to its 21st running and truly coming of age.”
